The hotel's position was stunning, close enough to restaurant and Suffolk. The rooms were cosy and cool, had shower facilities, a hair dryer and bath sheets in the bathroom. Need to add that garden view was a good bonus.

The pub we stayed at was situated in a great location, perfect for exploring the surrounding villages and countryside. the Deluxe Double Room we booked was spacious, comfortable and boasted a lovely en-suite bathroom with a bath.
The lack of attention given to us as guests during breakfast. the spread provided was minimal, and we expected more options like fruit juices and toast.

Spent Christmas at this charming hotel in Suffolk and had a wonderful time. The room was spacious and comfortable, decorated in a traditional style with a cozy fireplace. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for the perfect holiday. The location was ideal, with beautiful countryside views and easy access to nearby towns and attractions. One of the highlights was the delicious Christmas dinner, cooked to perfection and served with all the trimmings. a lovely experience that we would definitely repeat.
While we enjoyed our stay at this hotel, there were a few minor issues that could be improved. the heating system in our room was a bit outdated, and we had trouble regulating the temperature.

The value for money at The George was excellent, with spacious and comfortable rooms, a delightful en-suite bathroom, and a charming touch with sweets in the jar. The location in the lovely village was perfect for exploring Suffolk, and the friendly and professional staff made our stay truly enjoyable.
The breakfast option could be improved with more spreads and milk provided for the croissant and muesli.

We stayed at a very old building in a small village. the staff were very warm and friendly, making us feel at home.
The maintenance in the rooms was clearly lacking, lights that didn't work and the bathroom needing attention. the price of the meals was really high, making it not worth the expense.
